The Kindle Scribe is the newest update from Amazon. The new square shape isn’t the only noticeable difference compared to other Kindles. The large screen, no glare reading device definitely stands out! Not only is this a great gift for book lovers, but also for students!
I honestly wish I had something this useful in college. I might have actually gotten better grades in Accounting… well, maybe not, but I would have felt better about reading The Hunger Games during lectures.

COLOR!
At the moment, the Kindle Scribe is only in black-and-white, but we know that a future update will include color. It has happened with all current versions of Kindle, and the Scribe (hopefully) will continue with the trend.
THE SWIPE!
I can’t articulate EXACTLY what it is about the Kindle swipe that feels unnatural, but I personally prefer swiping between apps and pages like a phone or touch-screen laptop. The swipe on a Kindle is, perhaps, a little TOO smooth. It is also very sensitive. Breathing too hard might turn the virtual page on a Kindle device.
ACCESSORIES!
Who doesn’t love accessories? Since the Kindle Scribe is still fairly new, there aren’t many products available to support it. Things like covers, cases, different colored pens, grips… I definitely want to see more of those in the near future!
LANDSCAPE!
Currently, there is no option for landscape mode, only portrait. Landscape mode is vital if you want to look at two pages, or two apps, at the same time. I personally like to read with two pages open at once, so it is a seamless movement for my eyes to slid from one page to another.
