AUTHOR AUTOBIOGRAPHY
I first started writing when I was a child. My best friend and I would sit up in her room and just fill up notebooks with romance stories. We would giggle over him taking his shirt off or her wearing a string bikini. Since then I have become a better writer and a much more… raunchy writer.
I also went through the teenage phase of writing poetry but that didn’t last very long or get very far. Every now and then I will dig out that light blue notebook and cringe at what I thought at the time was amazing work, and then put it back into the box that lives under my bed.
PUTTING A PAUSE ON WRITING
I stopped writing when I was in high school and college and focused more on socializing and other nefarious aspects. During this time, I read A LOT of books and found myself moving on from Nora Roberts and Danielle Steele (thank you, grandma!) to Tate James, J. Bree, Jennifer Armentrout, Sarah J. Maas. These books helped inspire me to write every day! One day, I hope to write as great as them.
I didn’t start writing again until I was married and my husband encouraged me to go back to my roots and write. Over the next few years, I would write down stories that came to mind but not really take my hobby seriously. I would type out a story or some scenes but never really follow through. My Google Docs are filled with unfinished drafts and random ideas.
THE LIFE OF A MOM
Then I had a baby and all of my free time and brain space to write disappeared. I had absolutely no time or brain space to write. I was slowly going insane without an outlet and my ever-loving and supportive husband helped me make it a priority to write.
Kindle Vella was something I discovered during this time and I slowly started adding published books to that platform. I have also gradually started using Kindle Unlimited to publish my stories. My next novel to be published is Vampires in Montana, which is a reverse harem romance involving… you guessed it, vampires! It has been a crazy journey and I cannot wait to see what happens next!
PUBLISHED WORKS
My dad raised me all on his own, after my mother died. He was my everything, all I had, until he passed unexpectedly on my birthday. Luckily for me, I had recently reconnected with my dad’s old friends. When they decided to help me out after my dad’s death, I had no idea that a weekend with them at a cabin would change my life forever.
Content Warnings: This is an age-gap story where the main character doesn’t have to choose a guy. She gets all 3! There are definitely steamy parts in this book. Read at your own risk and enjoyment.
