Richard Krall Jr. is an American writer and published author. He specializes in fiction with lots of adventure, intrigue, and mystery! With a background in education, he is no stranger to reading! Recently he took his passion for reading and writing and decided to make a career of it. AUTHOR AUTO-BIOGRAPHY
I am currently a sixth-grade bilingual teacher as well as an adjunct college professor in ESL. I have been teaching a variety of different subjects over the last 27 years. I really enjoy working with kids. I have an 11-year-old daughter named Alexis, who I am inspired by daily.
I began the first book when the pandemic began, uncertain of when I would be able to go back to work. I wrote the first book, “The Dungeons of Durango” during the peak of the Covid-19 shutdown. That ended up leading to two sequels, “Widespread Thirst For Revenge” and “Desert Twilight.”
“Desert Twilight” was published on Amazon at the end of May 2022.
In my youth, I was always fond of writing short stories. Stephen King is a huge influence; his short stories have inspired my current works.
I am currently writing a variety of short stories. My efforts have afforded me an opportunity to learn a new job as a curator of short stories. I have always enjoyed writing and am thankful to have had the opportunity to turn my long-time hobby into a full and long-lasting career.
Writing is extremely therapeutic and satisfying. Besides spending time with my daughter, there is nothing else I would rather be doing.

The Dungeons of Durango is the first book in the series that chronicles the story of Patrick Santiago, a clairvoyant detective who also happens to be an ex-special forces soldier.
A Mexican sex trafficking ring run by one of the Mexican cartels makes a huge mistake and accidentally kidnaps a Mafia boss’s daughter as well as Patrick’s girlfriend’s daughter. The leader of the sex trafficking ring is a man named Fernando who shares a mysterious past with Patrick.
Patrick uses his many skills to help and rescue the missing girls. He discovers that he is connected to the case in more ways than one.

Widespread Thirst For Revenge picks up right after The Dungeons of Durango. Fernando wants revenge for the botched kidnapping as well as for being embarrassed by Patrick. In order to recoup the lost income from the disastrous kidnapping of the Mafia’s boss’s daughter, they begin a new operation. The cartel wants revenge on those who escaped as well as Patrick.
