Do you love connecting with other readers and authors? Well, BookyCon is the perfect place to do that! It is 100% virtual and you will have the opportunity to meet and talk to 100 authors and over 3000 readers.
If you are a book blogger, influencer, author, publisher, or any other bookish business, then this is a space that you need to be involved in!

WHAT IS BOOKY CALL?
As the host of this extraordinary event, it’s only right that I tell you all about Booky Call!
Booky Call is, esentially, Tinder but for books.
While on the app, you can create a profile and specify your favorite genres. You will then be offered an incredible selection of books that you can swipe to like or dislike. If you are the type to judge a book by its cover, then you’ll have a ton of fun with this!
If you aren’t sure about a book, you can easily read more information about it. “Liked” books will show up in your messages, where you can read more about the book and even buy it!
Booky Call makes book shopping so much fun and very convenient!

HELPFUL TIPS TO MAKE YOUR BOOKYCON EXPERIENCE A GREAT ONE!
You don’t have to worry about technical difficulties! Tech support will be available all day to help you. You’ll need a computer with a webcam and microphone (so you can interact with everyone!). Google Chrome is recommended, but not necessary.
BUILDING YOUR AVATAR:
You’ll need two photos to build your Booky Call avatar: a forward-facing headshot and a square photo of a book – either the one you are currently reading or your all-time favorite story.
Log in to the Booky Call app while you are at the event so you can easily discover all of the great books that will be discussed during the virtual festival.
TIME
This event will last from 12 pm-5 pm EST ON November 12, 2022. With so many activities, authors, and books to explore and discover, five hours may not be enough! If you can’t stay for the whole time or need to take breaks, you are more than welcome to come and go as you please!
