REMAKING A CLASSIC
Peter Pan and Wendy Darling have been immortalized by Disney. When the company adapted this children’s story, I’m sure no one realized its potential.
Now, almost 70 years later, this story has been adapted. And re-adapted…. many times over. There are countless movies, shows, plays, and spin-off books about peter, Wendy, Tinker Bell, and other characters. Despite the many adaptations, not all of them are great.
Hopefully, this one will be!
Filming for this newest adaptation began in 2021, after a year of Covid related delays. That means that this movie was only in production for ONE year. Even for Disney, that is very fast! I hope the speedy filming did not get in the way of a great production.
Coming this year will be another great Peter Pan live-action re-make.

Plot of Peter Pan and wendy
Basically, not much is known about the exact plot of this re-telling. All we know is that it is based off the original Peter Pan. You know, the one by J.M. Barrie in 1911?
We know that Tiger Lily will have a bigger role in the film. Besides that, no other information has been leaked.
Assuming this film is similar to the original, we know that there will be a strong and captivating story. It will appeal to children, teens, and adults.

There are quite a few familiar faces in this film. Certainly, this is definitely a strong group of actors. I look forward to seeing what they each bring to this popular fairy-tale.

Peter Pan and the lost boys is one of my all time favorite stories! It is filled with youthful fun. Adventure. Drama. Fairy-tale creatures, like mermaids. Cool characters like pirates. And so much more!
Are you aware of how Disney inaccurately portrayed Native Americans in the original cartoon? It seems as though Disney is trying to rectify that. The role of Tiger Lily will be played by Native American/ Canadian actress Alyssa Wapanatâhk. It is rumored that she will have a bigger role than in the O.G film. Tiger Lily will no longer be the tribal princess-in-distress. As a matter of fact, she will be a strong, independent, women who doesn’t let anyone mess with her. I hope…
Be prepared to have Tiger Lily be your new favorite Disney princess!
Like all Peter Pan spin-offs, I have high expectations. Will the graphics be on par with 2022 standards? Are we going to see all of the major and minor characters? Is this a musical? Or will there be subtle references to the original soundtrack?

CONCLUSION
Overall, I am excited for this Peter Pan re-make. I think it will be a strong live-action film. And I know that the characters will reflect modern day culture.
