Kevin Cox is a science fiction fantasy indie author who lives in southwest Georgia in a small town called Leesburg. When he isn’t writing thought-provoking science-fiction fantasy stories, he enjoys playing guitar, video games, and traveling. Kevin decided for fun to write a single chapter a few years ago, and he ended up writing another and another until finally he a novel was born.
He was hooked and has been writing ever since. Kevin gets his inspiration from the world around him. He got his concepts of his books from books and movies like Star Wars, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Labyrinth, The Neverending Story and such.
Kevin believes a good story is made up of great characters- ones with struggles and motivations and overcome obstacles in their path.

About Bewilderness
Bewilderness follows a teenage girl who has no memory of her life or even her name. She soon discovers an alien world where she is given the name Ambrielle by her new friend. As she continues to learn of this new world and its conflicts, she gets thrown out and then discovers another world full of technology.
When a sixteen-year-old wakes up in an unknown world and encounters dark forces that threaten the universe, only she can change its destiny.

My Review of Bewilderness
I don’t know where to begin! I absolutely loved Bewilderness! It’s a mix of fantasy and sci-fi. For me I loved the fact that it was a slow start because it was building the world so that we could see it how the author does. It gave me Crescent City vibes from all the imagery of the world. I finished this book in only 2 days! I definitely will be reading the next two in this series!
It starts off with a 16-year-old girl who has no idea what her name is or where she is. She soon discovers another Oasis and decides to follow a blue light in the spring and follows it to a whole new world! There she meets Maetha a Kavekkian who helps her, and names her Ambrielle, Maetha brings her to her home. While she is in this world, she meets another human Gavian. Ambrielle is then banished and thrown into a lake only for her to end back up where she started. She then travels to a different oasis trying to get back to Gavian and ends up in a whole other world!
If you love fantasy and Sci-fi, then this is definitely the book for you! If I could give more than five stars I would!
What is Kevin Cox Currently Working On?
I had the opportunity to speak with Kevin Cox, and I learned that he is currently working on the last installment of his Bewilderness series that is set to release sometime this year. He currently has book 1 and book 2 published and so he is excited to see his series completed.

As I mentioned above, Bewilderness is a Sci-fi fantasy book written by indie author Kevin Cox. Bewilderness was his introduction to the bookish world as an author. He’s currently working on his last installment of the Bewilderness series which will be published sometime this year.
