I am an Indian-American author of several mind-bending and deceptively narrated sci-fi books. I have wanted to write a book for more than a decade now. That idea always took a backseat to my full-time job and family responsibility. After being diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer, I understood that life is unpredictable and uncertain. So, I left work, and we traveled worldwide by taking quality vacations.
I was always an ardent reader and interested in the sci-fi genre. The only one that can’t keep my interest for long is witchcraft. Sewing was something that I never thought I would be able to do. But I happen to be a self-taught DIY designer, surprising myself. Horror is my favorite genre when it comes to movies. Well-made series also occupy my time when I am not writing.
My writing style is inspired by many things. Growing up, I was raised with Indic values. Ever since third grade, I have been intrigued by the creation. We often slept under the night sky as a family on the roof. I would stay up late watching the stars in wonderment. As a science major, I was fascinated with uncovering the mysteries around us and innovative technologies. When I met my husband, he introduced me to U.G. Krishnamurti’s way of life. He influenced my outlook to consider a very different side of our existence. I now place my conceptions with a sensual spin to keep things grounded and challenge routine perspectives to measure the other side.
