UPCOMING MOVIE - DISENCHANTED
Remember Enchanted from 2007? The one where Amy Adams plays Giselle, a cartoon princess that gets pushed into the real world of NYC? Well, the upcoming movie Disenchanted, the second movie in the series will be released on Disney+ in 2022.
In this new movie, you can expect great songs, amazing choreography, and an interesting plot. Keep reading to learn more about Disenchanted.
ACTORS AND ACTRESSES
You can expect to see the original cast members playing Giselle, Robert, Nancy, and Prince Edward.

PLOT
“Fifteen years after the events of the first film, Giselle moves with Robert and Morgan to the suburb of Monroeville, where she’s faced with juggling the challenges that come with a new home and discovering what happily ever after truly means to her and her new family.”
The real world and the world of Andalasia will be flipped upside-down while Giselle searches for her happiness.
FILMING
Disney fans have been waiting for this movie for a LONG time! Many were hoping for the movie to be released in 2011…. but some artistic controversy got in the way. More than a decade later, the Enchanted creators have finally settled on a script and got right to filming!
From what we know, the majority of filming will take place in Ireland. As a new mom with a new family, Giselle, Robert, and Morgan have traded the New York City apartment for a home in the suburbs of Monroeville.
What is truly special about this movie is that the timeline has stayed true to reality. Instead of trying to make the cast members look younger, the plot is being set 15 years AFTER the first film. That means that the daughter, Morgan, is no longer a little girl, but a full-fledged teenager!
FUN FACTS
You can expect a lot more dancing and a lot more singing compared to the first movie! Based on interviews that the cast members had with various talk-show hosts and magazines, it seems like the actors weren’t ready for the additional musical numbers. It has been almost 20 years since many of them have had to sing and dance on screen!
However, they quickly got into the grove and had a blast filming every single scene! Based on how great the first movie was, I have no doubt that all of the actors brought their A-game once again!
